Sherborn deed filings show wide price gap between $1,000 land transfer and $1.64 million home sale
Ten property deeds were recorded in Sherborn between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, though only four carry a posted sale price so far. Prices on record range from $1,000 to $1,640,000, with a median of $765,000 among the priced sales. The month's top transaction was 4 Green Ln, which sold for $1.64 million on Sept. 1. Six of the 10 filings show no price yet; most of those appear to be trust or estate transfers within the same family rather than open-market sales, and prices for any that are true sales typically post to the registry within about a week.
