Sherborn deeds show wide price spread as August closes with $3.1 million top sale
Sherborn recorded 17 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29. Of the 11 sales with disclosed prices, amounts ranged from $710,000 to $3,100,000, with a median of $1,649,000. The month's largest transaction was 137 Lake St., which sold for $3.1 million on Aug. 4. Maple Street and Washington Street each had two recorded transfers. Six of the 17 deeds listed no sale price; five of those six involved matching family surnames between seller and buyer, consistent with trust or intra-family transfers rather than open-market sales.
