Median Sherborn Home Sale Hits $1.6 Million Amid Wide July-August Price Range

Sherborn recorded 17 property sales from July 24 to Aug. 22. Ten disclosed a price, ranging from $710,000 to $3.1 million, with a median of $1,624,500. The period's top sale was 137 Lake St., which sold for $3.1 million on Aug. 4. Farm Road saw three transfers, including a same-day swap in which two buyer pairs exchanged neighboring properties without disclosing a price. Four other transfers appeared to be within-family or trust transactions, also without disclosed prices. With seven of 17 sales lacking price data, the full scope of the period's market value cannot be determined from deed records alone.
