Sherborn Board of Health hires TRC as Meadowbrook Commons peer reviewer, orders septic test amid renovation dispute. The board voted 5-0 to select TRC Companies over Hodge Water Resources to peer-review Toll Brothers' Meadowbrook Commons project and 5-0 to require an environmental health permit under regulation 305-3.3. Separately, after Health Agent Mark Oram found no building permit had ever been issued for a gutted Western Avenue home, the board voted 4-0 to require a passing Title 5 septic inspection before approving the work; homeowner Dan said his family is "sneaking in there at night to sleep and go to the bathroom." Public Health Nurse Gael Varsa reported five Sherborn cases of tick-borne alpha-gal syndrome.
The board also drafted a response, due within 14 business days, to an open meeting law complaint from resident Bob Murchinson over an August 12 Meadowbrook Commons discussion, without admitting a violation occurred.
