Sherborn Board of Health Approves Septic Plans for Four Properties at March Meeting
SHERBORN — March 4, 2026 — Sherborn Board of Health clears septic plans for four properties and approves a new installer permit at its March 4 virtual meeting. The board voted 4-0 on septic approvals or deed recordings at 13 Peckham Hill Road, 17 Everett Street, 109 Nason Hill Road, and 20 Nason Hill Road, with Board Member Rebecca Honeywell abstaining on the 13 Peckham Hill Road deed recording. At 20 Nason Hill Road, designer Bruce Wilson received two variances — one allowing a bed rather than trench configuration for a Presby enviro-septic system, and one permitting the system to sit 4.4 feet above seasonal high groundwater rather than the local five-foot standard — after an earlier plan revision eliminated the need for a third waiver by moving the system 133 feet from the on-site well. The board also heard that CNL Frosties opened for business March 4 and expects to begin ADA bathroom construction within the month, though health staff flagged unresolved ejector-pump specifications, alarm requirements, and double-wall piping for review. Both the January 21 and February 11 meeting minutes were deferred to the March 18 session, at which the board also intends to hold its permit fee hearing.
