Board of Health enacts fee schedule, denies bedrock permit applicant's relief request
Board of Health · Meeting of March 18, 2026
Sherborn Board of Health updates permit fee schedule effective May 1. The Board voted unanimously to enact updated permit fees estimated to generate approximately $20,000 in additional annual revenue, with Board Administrator Sarah Lapin confirming the projection based on FY25 permit processing data. The Board also heard a formal grievance from property owner Deliandro Dias regarding bedrock disruption permitting procedures at 24 Greenwood Street; Mr.
Dias alleged administrative errors caused delays, but the Board declined his requested waiver of the standard four-week notice period, scheduling continued review for April 8, 2026. The Board unanimously nominated Kimberly Morrow as Inspector of Animals for a one-year term and approved permits for a disposal works installer and a temporary food vendor.
