Board of Health approves revised permit fee schedule

Sherborn Board of Health approves permit fee restructuring. The board established an $80.85 hourly rate for environmental health staff and approved a revised permit fee schedule increasing well permits to $500 and seasonal food service permits from $50 to $250 to better reflect inspection costs. Co-Chair Daryl Beardsley and the board voted to maintain existing plan revision fees unchanged.
The board scheduled a public hearing for March 4th to formally introduce the fee changes. In related action, the board approved a conditional permit for C&L Frosty allowing business operations during ADA bathroom construction through May 31, 2026.
