Sherborn Board of Health orders septic replacement at 155 Maple Street and approves a slate of annual permits. The board voted 5-0 Wednesday to require owner Julie Moran to complete soil testing at the property by the end of March 2026 and have a new septic system installed by the end of May, after a Title V inspection conducted in December 2025 revealed a failure on a system that was never inspected during the May 2024 sale. Health Agent Mark Oram, R.S., C.H.O., told the board Moran has retained engineer Eric Dixon and is in contact with installers.

The board also voted unanimously to authorize Co-Chairs Daryl Beardsley and Julie Dreyfus, acting with Oram, to approve revised floor plans for a proposed house at 24 Greenwood without a full board meeting, resolving a room-count dispute tied to the home's four-bedroom septic approval. Seven food establishment permits were approved with sodium-posting conditions, one without, and two C&L Frosties permits were deferred to January 21 pending additional information.
