SHERBORN — The Sherborn Planning Board voted to continue the Meadowbrook Commons hearing to January 2027. Co-Chairs James T. Guarino and Stefani Harrison led a 4-0 vote extending the statutory decision deadline to February 2, 2027, and continuing the hearing itself to January 5.

The board also approved, 4-0, stone wall repairs at 21 Goulding Street East and 19 Snow Street, capping any new end caps at 30 inches. Town Planner Heidi Doyle warned the board has "nothing on our books" for battery energy storage systems despite a state requirement, effective October 1, that towns offer a permitting pathway, and said "I just feel it's something we have to do" about targeting a December hearing. Open Space Committee Chair Sam Nelson presented a draft plan update, noting Sherborn is "one of the few towns" to write the document without a paid consultant.
