Sherborn Select Board eyes Town Meeting votes on recall process, water district oversight. A nine-month Governance Task Force III review recommended sending an elected-official recall process and dissolution of the volunteer Personnel Board to Town Meeting, over member Paul DeRensis's objection that recall "stops all business and it becomes all politics." The board voted unanimously to approve a $2,028,801 short-term borrowing bid at 3.29 percent and accepted a $9,300 Council on Aging grant from Director Kristina Gallant for dementia-friendly Town Hall signage. Resident Bob Murchison told the board the North Sherborn Water and Sewer District Commission submitted a roughly 1,200-page state filing tied to Toll Brothers' Coolidge Crossing project without fully reviewing it, saying "I desperately want to be constructive with you all." Town Administrator Jeremy Marsette said the filing covered only a narrow water-transfer approval.
The board also approved a new Historical Commission sign and appointed five residents to town boards.
