SHERBORN — June 9, 2026 — Dover-Sherborn joint school committees approve bus cameras, staff contracts, and student policy updates. The Dover, Sherborn, and Dover-Sherborn Regional school committees met jointly June 9 at Dover Middle School, where Superintendent Elizabeth McCoy led the three bodies through a full action agenda that included the election of Jesse Hole as Union 50 chair and Bill Alfano as secretary. All three committees voted to approve memoranda of agreement for four employee contract groups, a roughly $30,000 addition of surveillance cameras to all district buses over four years through transportation provider Conley, and a 25-cent increase to breakfast and lunch prices — the first meal price adjustment in three years — noting that all students currently receive one free meal daily under state funding. Updated student handbooks, codes of conduct incorporating DESE special education feedback, and a revised restraint policy each passed with minor amendments at their second reads. The committees also unanimously appointed McCoy to the boards of both the TECH Collaborative in Walpole and the ACCEPTS Collaborative in Natick.
