Sherborn Zoning Board approves two permits, continues third hearing. The board unanimously approved the renewal of a Special Permit for Nanting Ni to maintain an additional housekeeping unit at 115 Maple Street for four years under existing conditions. The board also unanimously approved Laura Robbins' petition to modify the Special Permit for Fireside Tavern at 33A North Main Street, allowing the restaurant to expand into adjacent space for smaller private events with a new handicap accessible bathroom.
All food preparation will occur in the existing restaurant kitchen. The board continued the hearing for Dionysios Tembelopoulos' petition for a Special Permit to allow retail space and a restaurant at 31 North Main Street to June 3, 2026, as Tembelopoulos was unable to attend the May 6 hearing.
