Zoning board approves non-conforming house addition on Woodland Street

Sherborn Zoning Board approves modifications to Whitney Farms and Marenghi house addition. The board unanimously approved Angela and Mark Marenghi's request to add to their non-conforming house at 53 Woodland Street, with the 22.5-foot setback requirement abutting an existing retaining wall. Chair Zachary McBride moved to approve Whitney Farms modifications: duplex units increase from seven to 10, single-family homes decrease from 34 to 28, reducing total bedrooms from 186 to 180, with MassHousing approval dated January 20, 2026.

Conservation Commission clearance is required before construction on units in the wetlands buffer zone.
