Water district commission defers operator selection, advances bylaws

North Sherborn Water and Sewer District Commission · Meeting of March 11, 2026

SHERBORN — North Sherborn Water District Commission defers operator selection to focus on startup work. The five-member commission, welcoming new member Matthew DiMartino (sworn in by the Town Clerk on meeting day), unanimously approved the agenda and prior meeting minutes at its March 11 virtual meeting. Commissioners decided to postpone the water system operator RFP, agreeing that immediate hiring would create unnecessary pressure and distract from completing draft bylaws and water and sewer regulations, the priority for regulatory submission.

Environmental consultants Liz Clark of Tighe & Bond and Will Adams of Kennedy Wilson updated the commission on the Final Environmental Impact Report process, with commissioners requesting involvement as co-applicants as the draft advances.
