SHERBORN — Town Forest Committee finalized trail signage designs and scheduled stewardship plan vote for July. The committee finalized designs for cedar wood trail signage in dark burgundy and white, with signs expected in late summer, and approved Rick Thompson to oversee the project in consultation with the committee on placement. Members agreed to revise the Town Forest Stewardship Plan based on external reviewer feedback and vote on approval at the July 15 meeting, a step the Open Space Committee suggested would strengthen the town's Open Space and Recreation Plan.

The committee also encouraged Nicholas Rodenhouse to proceed with invasive plant sampling in Compartment 1 beginning in July and discussed trail erosion remediation, parking improvements, and website expansion to highlight forest management and ecology.
