Sherborn Town Forest Committee approves reforestation study and finalizes planning documents. At its March 19 meeting, the committee unanimously approved up to $1,600 from its budget for a reforestation study with two plots, one planted and one control, after a grant application to the Department of Fish and Game Community Biodiversity Program was denied. Nicholas Rodenhouse presented an updated Stewardship Plan with new soil and trail maps and other modifications deemed ready for external review.
The committee unanimously approved an updated trailhead sign with a QR code, an application form for new trails or structures, and updated guidelines for Town Forest activities, all to be posted on the committee's webpage.
