Sherborn Schedules Business Roundtable and Task Force Meetings for June 30
A slow midsummer Thursday left Sherborn's official channels without fresh announcements, but residents looking ahead will find a packed week of town meetings and community programming waiting on the other side of the weekend.
TOWN HALL
The town homepage surfaces several standing items worth keeping on the radar. The Governance Task Force III is actively seeking resident input as part of its ongoing review process, and a Sherborn Business Community Roundtable Discussion is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30. Results of the 2026 Open Space and Recreation Plan Community Survey remain posted for public review, and the town's Power Choice 2026 program information is available on the municipal website for residents weighing their electricity options.
The town's long-standing notice about PFAS6 levels in the public water supply wells serving Town Hall, the Library, the Police Station, and the Sherborn Community Center remains posted. That notice relates to testing from the July–September 2023 period; residents with questions should contact Town Hall directly at 508-651-7850.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Sherborn Public Library's Summer Reading 2026 program — "Plant a Seed, Read" — is underway through August 31, giving readers of all ages a reason to stop in through the summer. The library's events calendar also shows a program slated for July 23 at 2:00 p.m., though full details were not yet posted at press time.
The library is also still accepting applications for two part-time Student Library Aide positions at the renovated and expanded 4 Sanger Street building. Interested candidates can find more information at sherbornlibrary.org.
