Disability Advisory Committee · Meeting of June 17, 2026

Sherborn's Disability Advisory Committee agreed to lead accessibility improvements in the town's draft Open Space and Recreation Plan. Members Nicole Wiemeyer, Frank Hess, and Kathy Horigan approved prior meeting minutes and agenda unanimously on June 17, then reviewed strategies for making trails and recreation facilities more accessible to people with disabilities and explored regional cooperation with neighboring towns. Associate Member Kelly McClintock noted that the DAC's lead roles carry significant responsibility; the committee confirmed it is willing to take them on.

The Farm Pond Accessibility Grant, prepared by Amelia Landau, was under review with a decision expected in the fall.
