Advisory Committee · Meeting of July 13, 2026

Sherborn's Advisory Committee approved an $11,000 interdepartmental year-end transfer to address budget overruns. Finance Director Deb Siefring and Town Administrator Jeremy Marsetts presented requests to redistribute funds from Employee Benefits to Town Buildings ($2,000) for heating and HVAC repairs and to Transfer Station ($9,000) for disposal costs, with Siefring confirming sufficient unexpended balance to cover all transfers. The vote passed unanimously.

Vice Chair Nora Smith Lynch reported that tennis and pickleball courts are expected to open in early September 2026, with Recreation Coordinator Dave Welch departing; a search for his successor is underway. Finance Director Siefring announced her retirement for early September 2026 and encouraged the town to hire a successor with municipal accounting experience.
