Select Board backs FY27 budget, supports Congressional earmark

Sherborn Select Board endorses FY27 budget amid warnings of fiscal challenges. The board voted unanimously (5-0-0) to support the balanced FY27 Omnibus Budget after presentations by Town Administrator Jeremy Marsette and school committee leaders Angie Johnson (Regional) and Rebecca Hammond (Pine Hill), with members stating the year ahead will present "significant challenges for all of the town's budget makers." The board also voted unanimously (5-0-0) to endorse the Intersection Project at Lake and Elliot Street for Congressman Jake Auchincloss's Congressional earmark program, with Sherborn among approximately twenty nominated projects.
