Select Board · Meeting of March 26, 2026
Sherborn Select Board approves town clerk fee increases for first time since 2010. Town Clerk John Doyle surveyed 20 comparable towns and found Sherborn's rates below average on three of five categories. The board unanimously reappointed Jane Branch to the Historical Commission and Historic District Commission for a term expiring June 26, 2028, and approved the Consent Agenda.
The board unanimously approved fee adjustments: dog licenses fall from $20 to $15 for neutered/spayed animals and from $30 to $25 for intact animals effective November 23, 2026, while business certificates rise to $50, vital records copies to $15, and marriage intention certificates to $25, taking effect immediately.
