Select Board approves May 12 election warrant, Arts & Crafts Fair

Sherborn Select Board approves warrant for May 12 town election and endorses summer events. The board unanimously approved a Memorandum of Agreement with the Public Employee Committee regarding employee health insurance and authorized a High-Deductible Plan option, and also unanimously approved approximately $257,925 in roadwork projects: shimming and chip sealing Goulding Street East ($139,675) and Forest Street ($118,250). The 54th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair, scheduled for May 9, was approved for use of Town Hall grounds with signage permission from April 20 through May 9.

The board rejected a motion to study sewer-infrastructure costs for North Sherborn Water & Sewer District residents, voting 3 to 2.
