Select Board Approves $116,451 Water Project Reserve Fund Transfer

Select Board · Meeting of February 12, 2026

Sherborn Select Board advances water-treatment funding and power-contract renewal. The board unanimously approved a $116,451.18 Reserve Fund transfer for the Woodhaven and Leland Farm water treatment project, which encountered multiple well failures and a seven-week shutdown requiring $80,000 in bulk water supply alone. Town Administrator Jeremy Marsette was authorized to sign the optimal bid for renewal of the Sherborn Power Choice municipal aggregation contract, with guidance favoring a three- to four-year term and inclusion of national wind renewable energy.

The board also approved an ABCC license change for Sherborn Fuel from Beer & Wine to All Alcohol and appointed William Miller and Melissa Bowman to the Cable TV Advisory Board and Disabled Tax Aid Committee respectively.
