SHERBORN — Charles River Health District approved a required FY27 workplan for four-town regional governance. Shared Services Manager Kerry Dunnell guided the group through Office of Local and Regional Health submission requirements, incorporating two performance and two sustainability objectives. The plan prioritizes the MAVEN work system, foodborne illness prevention, monthly CPR training in all four towns including gender-inclusive bystander instruction, and capacity-building in grant writing.

A Medical Director position remains unfilled, with towns considering individual physician contracts as backup. The workplan was adopted unanimously by Dover, Medfield, Needham, and Sherborn on votes of 4-0.
