Open Space Committee advances revised recreation plan

SHERBORN — The Open Space Committee moved forward on its revised recreation plan with a new editor and October 1 deadline. Chair Sam Nelson reported that copy editor Brian Hotchkiss, who edited the 2018 plan, will manage the four-month editing and formatting process. The committee established a timeline for completing remaining work from April through June, with outreach to town boards and committees responsible for implementing action items.
Committee leads will attend relevant board meetings and gather feedback to refine the plan's goals and strategies. The committee reviewed the 2025 OSRP survey results and agreed to add annotated comments highlighting key findings.
