Library Trustees · Meeting of January 20, 2026

SHERBORN — Library Trustees unanimously approve $5,345 in teen art and programming projects. Teen Librarian Quincy Knapp's Art Gallery proposal received $4,866.49 from Finishing Touches, paired with a $479.14 allocation for enhanced graphic novel and manga displays. Chair Brian Connolly reported the History Center project received 13 general contractor bids on January 8, with the lowest at approximately $790,000, below the $1 million estimate; contract award is expected in early February, with construction anticipated to begin in coming months.

A $600,000 private donation, half received and half expected soon, fully funds the project.
