SHERBORN — The Sherborn Historical Commission appointed Jennifer Halloran Chapman as treasurer as three members departed. Dina Cote resigned to care for a family member; Susie Wheelwright and Eugene Goldfield announced retirements effective after June. The commission approved April minutes unanimously and discussed preservation work, including an $8,000 quote to replace non-UV-protective glass in the Town Hall upstairs room with Dowse portraits.
Chair Jane Branch agreed to seek a Frame Shop estimate for UV glass installation on the portraits themselves. The commission confirmed that Karen Woolf would perform annual maintenance on the Memory Statue on May 21 and called for suggestions for new members to fill vacant positions.
