Historical Commission advances PreColonial Sherborn sign project

Historical Commission · Meeting of February 2, 2026

Sherborn Historical Commission guides sign and website updates. The commission approved January minutes unanimously at its February 2 meeting and discussed updates to its webpage and Design Review Guidelines, with recommended changes receiving favorable review. Member James Guarino will consult with Town Planner Heidi Doyle about the approval process.

Chair Jane Branch shared the first draft of the PreColonial Sherborn sign, and members responded favorably to using the Charles River as a visual backdrop for the information. The commission declined to pursue a Demolition Delay Bylaw warrant article before Town Meeting.
