Sherborn Board of Health approved conditional permit for historic home septic system. The Board unanimously approved a building permit for 81 Hunting Lane allowing conversion of a second-floor bedroom into bathrooms, conditional on deed restrictions requiring the aging cesspool system to be upgraded to current standards before further habitable improvements. Board Co-Chair Daryl Beardsley noted the upgrade would otherwise be required upon the property's next sale and recommended the current owners pursue it now during their residency.

The Board also set a July 8 deadline for septic design plan submission from 155 Maple Street owners under an administrative order requiring septic replacement, and unanimously approved food permits for St. Theresa of Lisieux Parish, C&C Ice Cream, Wanderlust, and Lil' Miss Bakery.
