A community survey of more than 400 residents showed strong support for protecting water quality and drinking-water sources.
Committee members discussed proposing water-quality testing at residential property sales and expressed interest in developing a public education program on voluntary water conservation during droughts. The town operates under Level 3 Critical Drought status.
