SHERBORN — Governance task force continues review of town boards and committees. The four-member task force—Ms. Rellas, Mr.
Connolly, Mr. Winters, and Mr. Johnson—reviewed 10 elected and appointed boards and committees to evaluate their contribution to town governance.
Members discussed adding term limits for elected positions, with the majority opposed, and considered amending the two-term limit on the appointed Advisory Committee. Mr. Johnson presented research on recall provisions in Eastern Massachusetts towns.
