Forest Committee schedules site visit on mountain bike trail structure

Town Forest Committee · Meeting of January 15, 2026

SHERBORN — Mountain bike trail structure decision delayed at Town Forest Committee. Rob Burn's application to build a new structure on the Mt. Misery bike trail generated discussion from both committee members and the public; the committee scheduled a February 7 site visit and environmental assessment before voting.

Nick Rodenhouse, the committee member drafting the stewardship plan, noted plant-impact assessment cannot be completed until early June. The committee also finalized an application process for new structures and trails, with a vote scheduled for February.
