Commission plans Lybarsky lot work, revisits monument responsibility

Cemetery Commisson · Meeting of March 18, 2026

Sherborn Cemetery Commission revisits monument responsibility, schedules Lybarsky lot work meeting. Members Chuckie Blaney, George Fiske, Gene Ham, and Associate Member Robert D'Eramo discussed ongoing cost responsibility for restoring fallen monuments and headstones, which the commission currently funds. The commission scheduled a March 19 meeting with the Lybarsky family to address substantial work on their Pine Hill Cemetery lot, including removal of 27 boulders and repositioning of stones on the burial site.

Sue Tyler is reviewing Sherborn cemeteries for tree work needs at Plain Cemetery, while George Fiske will coordinate mapping updates.
