Cemetery Commission and Lybarskys schedule continued talks
Cemetery Commisson · Meeting of March 19, 2026
Sherborn Cemetery Commission reviews Lybarsky lot design and permit process. The Cemetery Commission met with Dan and Gary Lybarsky to examine their five-year gravesite design project at Pine Hill Cemetery, which proposes boulder removal, soil additions, and landscaping modifications. Commission members Chuckie Blaney, Gene Ham, George Fiske, and associate member Robert D'Eramo identified that no written permit was issued for the work, contrary to Cemetery Rules and Regulations.
The commission raised concerns that the proposed design should conform to the cemetery's existing landscape character. The group agreed to meet again to address outstanding design and permit matters.
