The Capital Budget Committee approved revised guidance for fiscal year 2028 capital requests.

The Capital Budget Committee approved revised guidance for fiscal year 2028 capital requests. The committee voted unanimously to move the submission deadline from December 1, 2026 to October 16, 2026 and authorized the Town Administrator to collect and aggregate six-year capital plans from all applicable town departments. Chairperson Peter Moores noted ambiguity over which entities must formally submit but said the committee would follow up with town officials.
The guidance letter also moved the school meeting date from January 12 to January 19, 2027, and established that failure to submit would result in a recommendation against approval.
