Capital Budget Committee approves $927,000 for high school roof

Capital Budget Committee · Meeting of February 17, 2026

Sherborn capital committee approves $927,000 for regional school roof. The Capital Budget Committee, chaired by Peter Moores, voted 2-0 to appropriate up to $927,000 for Sherborn's share of the regional high school roof renovation, with Nora Lynch Smith abstaining. The 23-year-old roof suffers from water infiltration and requires replacement by summer.

The committee also unanimously approved $75,000 for feasibility and design studies across four town facilities, $75,000 for a new police vehicle, and $80,000 for an Assessors computer system.
