Board of Health approves bedrock disruption permit for Greenwood Street project

Sherborn Board of Health approves bedrock disruption and septic variances. The Board approved a contested bedrock disruption permit for 24 Greenwood Street, overriding Dr. Rebecca Hunnewell's request to delay work; work may begin April 9.
Notification to 63 abutters exceeded the four-week requirement. The Board granted nine variances for a septic replacement at 86 North Main Street and four for an upgrade at 39 Brush Hill Road, addressing high groundwater and multiple well-spacing conflicts on both sites. Co-Chair Daryl Beardsley called the North Main Street site "arguably number one" among the most difficult properties she has seen.
The library was approved for a history center addition, increasing occupancy to 415 with annual septic tank maintenance as a condition.
