Board of Health · Meeting of March 4, 2026

Sherborn Board of Health approved septic variances and deed-recorded basement additions at two properties. For 20 Nason Hill Road, the board granted two variances enabling a Presby Bed septic system: bed configuration instead of trenches, and 4.4 feet above groundwater instead of 5 feet. The system relocates from 77 to 133 feet from the property's well, replacing a system that failed its Title 5 inspection.

The board also approved plan updates at 17 Everett Street reflecting 6-bedroom design flow at 660 gallons per day, and approved replacement of a cesspool with a conventional 4-bedroom system at 109 Nason Hill Road. All votes were unanimous except 13 Peckham Hill, where Dr. Hunnewell abstained on deed recording for two basement rooms.
