Sherborn Board of Health approved four bedrock disruption permits on Farm Road despite resident opposition. Vice Chair Steven Constantine and Co-Chair Julie Dreyfus voted in favor each time, with member Bose Kochupurakkal abstaining in the 2-1 votes, over concerns about potential impacts to private wells from ledge removal. Residents cited prior well contamination in neighboring communities and Sherborn's reliance on groundwater.
The Board also approved septic system work at 20 Nason Hill Road using innovative Presby enviro chamber technology and granted four variance waivers for 21 Goulding Street East.
