Advisory Committee reviews five fiscal 2027 operating budgets

Sherborn committee hears budgets, considers $22,680 permit software. Chair Stephen Bonder's Advisory Committee heard fiscal 2027 presentations from Conservation Commission, Planning Board, Building Inspectors, Board of Health, and Employee Benefits. Building Inspector Chris Canney proposed $22,680 annual for an enterprise permitting system covering eight departments, with a grant potentially deferring town expense to fiscal 2028.

Building permit revenue is projected at roughly $349,000 for fiscal 2026. Board of Health administrator Sarah Lappin proposed fee increases aiming for $86,981 in fiscal 2027 revenue.
